"The Baby's Black Beauty" vintage cloth book.  Copyright 1898 by Anderson and Stoner, Hurst Company Publishers, New York.  This item is in remarkably good condition for its age.  There is minor staining and fading on the first 2 pages as shown in the photos, but it is still quite easy to read.  The rest of the book is in better condition.  Pictures are accurate examples of the whole of the book.  There is some fraying on the tops and bottoms of the pages, but stitching on the binding edge is strong and intact.  This is a lovely example of baby's first book from our American past.  The pictures do not do it justice.   Free shipping.
