Vtg 9 3/4" San Antonio Souvenir Plate-Royal Winton-1951-La Villita + 10 Scenes

Description

Offered is this vintage ceramic souvenir plate for San Antonio, made in Staffordshire, England by Royal Winton. The white plate features a large color illustration of "La Villita", the old Spanish section of the city. This is surrounded by 10 smaller images in brown and white of places and events in San Antonio's history, with descriptive captions. A narrow gold band is around the outside. The back has descriptive text about "Old Villita", the manufacturer's logo and the date 1951.
The plate is 9 3/4" in diameter. The front of the plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches. The back has no chips, cracks or scratches, either, but does have some fine surface crazing. There are a few small surface bumps, etc.
