VINTAGE WYNN'S FRICTION PROOFING OIL IDAHO STATE SOUVENIR DECAL LABEL 1950s RARE

This souvenir from WYNN'S OIL FRICTION PROOFING promotes the great state of IDAHO.
These were given away as advertising premiums in the early 1950's, and this one is in good condition but is missing some ink on the right edge, and has some creasing and bending at the corners and a small tear at the top right.  The back of the decal is quite interesting and has some of Idaho's statistics, including population in 1950 (588,637), and the 1953 Governor (Len Jordan).  It's a very neat and interesting piece of early Idaho travel memorabilia.
This item measures 5" wide by just an inch high, but packs a lot of color and information into such a small decal!  It is gummed on the front as was probably meant to go on the inside of a car window.  It's doubtful this old decal would survive application so it is best kept as the centerpiece of a vintage travel memorabilia collection.
