Vintage AstroWorld Souvenir Goblet Drinking Glass Carousel Culver Glassware. Condition is "Used". Shipped USPS Priority Mail. FREE SHIPPING TO THE CONTINENTAL US ONLY!!
This VERY RARE find is a CULVER brand goblet and includes the gold paint "CULVER" hallmark on the side of the water goblet (seen in 4th photo). WE COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT FOR SALE ANYWHERE!!
We have so many wonderful memories of bringing our children to AstroWorld from the time they were very little until the last year the park closed. Even when we were teenagers ourselves, this was the place where we often went with friends and family. Houston is close enough to Cajun Country that we could vacation there quite often. We attended an estate sale wherein the original owners of this glass kept it in very good condition! We were actually quite surprised to find it because we have not seen a glass like this one from AstroWorld in a VERY LONG TIME!!!
This goblet has gold paint circles wrapping around the rims, centers, and bottom. On two sides, It includes (in 22k gold gild) the words "AstroWorld Houston, Texas” along with a gold carousel horse on a frosted decal.
This goblet has a short stemware design with a footed base and measures approximately 6.5" tall with a 3" in diameter.
Some of the gold gild has worn off on the bottom gold ring, mostly beneath the two decals (see photos 11 and 12). The majority of the gold gild is still on this glass!! There are no chips, cracks, or cloudiness on this goblet whatsoever!!
