Vintage 1 1/2" Bakelite Stretch Bracelet! Amber & Rust Disc & Rod Construction!

This vintage Bakelite stretch bracelet is 1 1/2" wide and was made from semi translucent amber colored Bakelite with rust colored marbling. The bracelet was made from round disc shaped pieces of Bakelite that have been cut in half. The sections are separated by 1 1/4 tall round rod shaped pieces. The mixture of sizes and shapes make this a really unique and beautiful piece! The bracelet was recently restrung and now has a strong elastic cord with excellent elasticity. The bracelet weighs a chunky 104 grams!!
The bracelet is in overall excellent vintage condition and it's authenticity as Bakelite was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) NOTE: There are a couple of small chips to the inside edges and sides but they are not visible when worn and I believe were made when the holds for the elastic were made.
