.  The musical revival opened in NYC on 09/19/48 and ran for only 15 performances.
Inside are a few production photos, cast and production credits, headshot photos, bios, an article on the show by Oscar Hammerstein II and critics' quotes.  The cast includes Billy House, Pamela Caveness, Norwood Smith, Sammy White, Bertha Belmore, Martha King, Clare Alden, William C. Smith, Laverne French and Helen Dowdy. Music by Jerome Kern, lyrics and book by Oscar Hammerstein II (based on the novel by Edna Ferber).  Directed by Hassard Short and choreographed by Helen Tamiris.

Souvenir programs are 9 x 12 inches but may vary somewhat in size.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear including some spine separation on the covers repaired inside with thin archive tape.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
