    Description

1st - I AM NOT A BUSINESS AND DO NOT HAVE POSTAL PICK-UPS TWICE A DAY  so please allow me IF needed an extra day or 2 to get to the Post Office.
Sorry but sometimes, not always, the colors are off/yellowish when my is taking picts of bright things.
I think this is a really unusual piece and possibly fairly scarce wooden sign? I think it's a piece of banking history. My guess it was a lobby sign or something? It is approx. 21" x 4 3/4" x 1/2" thick. Obviously missing some letters and there are 3 metal pieces loosely tacked to it. One looks like tin"4436 EA", one is copper"8569-8599 INCL." and one is a metal disc or coin? I believe the company under this name from a merger of 2 companies in 1929 then the name changed with another merger in 1959 but not totally sure. Do your research.
I may not respond right a way to the sale as I might be away for the weekend. GOOD LUCK!
PLEASE ask questions and do your research before you bid and BE SURE it is what you want so we don't have to go through the hassles and costs of returning. Thank you.
