    Beauty Souvenir Earl Carroll's Vanities America's Greatest Revue Los Angeles (No date) Souvenir program from Earl Carroll's Vanities, a nightspot once located on Sunset Blvd. in L.A. No date but early 1940s. The booklet measures 8"x11" and is illustrated with numerous black and white photographs of scantily clad showgirls. 16 pages. Carroll produced and directed numerous Broadway musicals, including eleven editions of Earl Carroll's Vanities, Earl Carroll's Sketch Book and Murder at the Vanities, which was also made into a film. Known as "the troubadour of the nude", Carroll was famous for his productions featuring the most lightly clad showgirls on Broadway. Carroll died in the crash of United Airlines Flight 624 in 1948.
