Porcelain Souvenir Coffee Mug Alamo Village Brackettville Texas

This is a white souvenir porcelain coffee mug from Alamo Village in Brackettville, Texas. It has a round scene in several colors on the front side that is advertising for the famous movie set that was originally built for the Alamo movie produced by and starring John Wayne in 1960. It was the first movie set built in the state of Texas, and was a popular tourist attraction for many years thereafter, but has now been abandoned and is rapidly succumbing to "time and the elements". They say now it is just a ghost town with very few human visitors. The mug stands about 3" high, and is about 2 7/8" across. It has a gold trim at the top lip and is in excellent condition.
