Orthoceras Fossil Paperweight Bookend Stone Black Polished
Available is this polished stone with Orthoceras fossils.  It is black stone, with fossils visible on several sides.   The stone measures 3.5 inches tall by 3.5 wide and 2.5 inches deep.  The underside is not polished and does have a small chip in the edge.  Otherwise in good shape, with normal shelf wear - it was possibly part of a set but make a fabulous paperweight.  Orthoceras was a cephalopod, similar to a squid during the Upper Devonian period - 370 million years ago.
