    Description

    Souvenir china porcelain box reads, Souvenir of El Paso. Street Scene in El Paso.  Measures four inches across.  Stamp on bottom reads, Made in Austria for T.H. Springer El Paso Texas Wheelock.  Bottom piece has glue residue on yet.  Bottom also has a crack on the left side.  Hopefully pics will show the line.  It does still display nicely and would be a good item for the local collector.
    Souvenir porcelain china was very popular during the 1890's right up until the beginning of WWI.  A lot of the souvenir china that I list on ebay comes from this time period.  It was common for these pieces to be imported from Germany/Austria.  Some souvenirs were made after the war and sold through the 1920's and 1930's.  If you have any questions on any of the pieces I have listed please ask me and I'll try my best to answer.
