Presented for your consideration is this beautiful and interesting cameo brooch/pin or pendant. The center of the brooch is made of carved shell and features a very detailed scene throughout. The scene shows a woman standing outside of a house. Between the house and woman is a large tree. In the distance another house can be seen. Nice, intricate detailing is present throughout the scene. The shell sits in a silver setting with a twisted rope pattern around the inside edge and a small beaded pattern around the outer edge. The brooch is finished with a straight pin on the back with a rotating clasp. There is also a loop on the back to use the cameo as a necklace pendant. Guaranteed to be antique. This gorgeous brooch would make a great addition to any antique jewelry or cameo collection!
Very light wear from age and use. No cracks or chips. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 1 3/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1/8" deep.
