The revival of the Anton Chekhov play opened in NYC on 12/21/42 and ran for 123 performances.  Inside are partial cast and production list and lots of information and photos of Katharine Cornell from her career including Masha in The Three Sisters, Elizabeth Barrett in The Barretts Of Wimpole Street, the title role in Lucrece, Juliet in Romeo And Juliet, the title role in Candida, the title role in Saint Joan, Linda Easterbrook in No Time For Comedy, Mariamne in Herod And Mariamne, Oparre in Wingless Victory. Jennifer Dubedat in The Doctor's Dilemma and the title role in Rose Burke.  The cast includes Katharine Cornell, Judith Anderson, Edmund Gwenn, Ruth Gordon, Dennis King, Gertrude Musgrove, Alexander Knox, McKay Morris and Tom Powers.  Directed by Guthrie McClintic.  The

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
