    Description

    This 20 Hong Kong dollar note was issued by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in 2012. It is a blue note that measures 143 mm x 71.5 mm, is dated 1 January 2013, and is signed by Peter T. S. Wong. Its obverse side shows the HSBC headquarters building, a lion statue, and a SPARK feature with a lion head and 20. Its reverse side shows goldfish and children celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. Security features include a green-to-magenta windowed security thread with demetalized HK20 and a large HK made up of small letters, an HSBC logo registration device, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower and an electrotype 20 on pixelized design. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
