    Description

    The Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote from 1992 has a dimension of 138 x 69 mm. Its obverse side bears the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant, a sailing ship at sea, and Chinese junks. The reverse side of the note depicts two reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in Central District, Hong Kong. The construction was completed in November 1985 and it was known as one of the worlds most expensive buildings in history. A modern freight ship and a Chinese junk are printed on the background. The security features of the note include a solid security thread and a lions head watermark in profile.
