    Description

    The Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote from 1989 is part of the 1985 - 1992 series. Its obverse side depicts the denomination along with the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a unicorn and lion rampant with sailing ship and Chinese junks. The reverse side features two reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in Central District, Hong Kong. A Chinese junk and a modern freight ship are also printed on the upper right. The note is 138 x 69 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Lions head watermark as part of its security features.
