    Description

    The Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote from 1981 is part of the 1935 - 1983 series. Its obverse side bears a portrait of an allegorical woman with a sheaf of wheat on the upper-left, and the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant, a sailing ship at sea, and Chinese junks. On the reverse side is the stripped classical style 3rd HSBC headquarters building in Central District, Hong Kong, and a winged female angel with trumpet. The security features of the note include a watermark image of a helmeted warriors head in profile and numeric 10. The note measures 152 x 85 mm.
