    Description

    The Hong Kong 1,000 Dollar banknote with serial number DU562356 was issued in 2013. Its obverse side depicts the HSBC headquarters building, the HSBC logo as a registration device, and a lion statue with the lions head and numeric 1000 in SPARK. The reverse side features a Dragon Boat Racing Festival and the HSBC logo. The note is 163 x 81.5 mm in size and contains a green-to-magenta windowed security thread with demetalized HK1000 and a large HK made up of small letters to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a Bauhinia flower watermark and electrotype 1000 on pixelized design.
