    Description

The Hong Kong 10 Dollar banknote from 1981 is part of the 1979 - 1982 series. Its obverse side depicts the bank logo pattern in underprint and a mythological carp fish jumping out of water. The reverse side features the Chartered Bank headquarters building in Central district, Hong Kong, and the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant. The note has a dimension of 151 x 83 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread printed CBHK to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a head pattern watermark of an Allegorical helmeted warrior.
