HARTFORD FIRE INSURANCE CO.VintageMetal Tin Advertising Sign ~USA

Description

Here's an advertising tin/metal sign - research says it would be used to indicate livestock being transported was insured by Hartford Insurance.  It measures about 19 1/2" x 11", with lower corner marked as made in USA.  It does have some scuffs, scratches, edge rust and wear, as shown.  We found that older signs (c 1960's or before) were similar but embossed and new/reproduction signs have that embossing but made to look rusty.  We are estimating this sign as in between those - guessing maybe 1970's/80's? - please refer to pics as additional description & use your own judgment.
