This is a gorgeous David Broadwell designed Art Deco rollerball pen in rhodium  and gold finish with classic cool look with an art deco design from  the art deco period.  Its a solid very nice kit with a nice quality heavy Rhodium  and golf finish with lots of nice shine that has a real swvorski crystal in the clip.  It is really a nice high end kit that of course comes with a really nice German made ceramic rollerball refill.  This pen writes like a dream and will turn heads for sure.  Thanks for looking.
Accomplished pen designer David Broadwell designed this equisitely original Art Deco Gold T/N & rhoium Ceramic Rollerball Pen Kit. Art Deco was an opulent and lavish art form that spanned the 1920's and 1930's.
The art form influenced architecture, industrial design, interior design, fashion, and film of the period.

"I have been fascinated with the Art Deco movement for many years, especially the architecture. Tall skyscrapers with geometric lines are awe inspiring! The city hall in Los Angeles, the Empire State Building, the Boston Ave. Methodist Church in Tulsa, the Texas & Pacific RR terminal in Ft. Worth, and the ultimate expression of Art Deco architecture, the Chrysler Building! I enjoy the challenge of putting these architectural elements onto pens, and hope you enjoy creating pens around these components."

David Broadwell is an accomplished custom art knife and pen maker with twenty-five years experience shaping & sculpting a variety of metals, fine woods, ivories, and stone. His pens have been featured in Stylophiles online magazine, Pen World International, Stylus Magazine, and was showcased in the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) 3M Innovative Tools 2002 Exhibition. His hand made pens sell for thousands of dollars.
The exotic material al on this pen is made from very nicely figured Honduran Rosewood Burl that i handpicked picked just for this project and wow it was worth the effort and is just gorgeous on this kit.  It has so much character with all natural hues and knots of the natural Honduran rosewood burl with grain
and texture everywhere on this one of kind treasure with it’s glassy smooth finish that has been sanded and polished by hand then it gets 12 layers of CA finish followed by a wet polishing process and then 2 layers of the world’s best, albeit very expensive but awesome friction wax.
This is truly one of kind and pictures do not do this pen justice.
This is quite a process and these pens are not for everybody so I have only made a few of these in this kit but I really do like them and this pen's new owner will surely turn heads with this one...
I only make 1 or 2 pens a day and each and every one is handcraft by me in my shop.  The pen you see in the listing is the pen you will receive.  I will happily make a custom pen of just about any kind and from just about any wood o
r just about any material you could choose and because of my low volume I can get to it pretty quickly.  I do not use and duplication tool so each pen is a 1 of kind original.  I hand pick from over 30 species of gorgeous wood from all over the world for its grain, spalt, burl, and just unique characteristics.
The pen started out in my shop as a rough piece of wood which goes through a many step process to produce a one of a kind working piece of art.  Every pen that I make is different in shape, color and pattern

The pens are made from a solid piece of wood with the grain oriented to match between the two barrels of the pen.   It was turned by hand on my lathe in my small shop by me.

quality and painstakingly made and have a really nice heft and feel and are a real pleasure to write with and the make excellent gifts but be advised that once you get one of these in your hands you wont want to part with it. Some gift ideas include:
