This is a handmade Bolt Action Ballpoint Pen made by Placid Crafts. Yes, this pen is made from Genuine Abalone Pearl. The Hardware on this pen is Gun Metal. The Bolt Action works as the ink to retract or advance the ink for writing. The Rifle Case makes it a real eye catcher. The pen is 5-3/8" long. I would consider this a standard diameter. he standard Fisher “SPR Series” Refills were developed for NASA and have been used on EVERY Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with a
specially formulated thixotropic ink
and pressurized to about 35 PSI. They are the only refills that will write at any angle because they do not rely on gravity.
