    Up for auction is a vintage, early "Bogus Basin Bronze NASTAR", ski pin. NASTAR stands for North America STAndered Race. The program, given the acronym NASTAR, was introduced in 1968 as a means to compare the performance of recreational ski racers at resorts across the United States. Bogus Basin ski resort opened in 1942 and still thrives today. If you have any questions, please ask! I usually answer them within a day.
