Each panel depicts a God/Goddess riding a chariot that represents a day of the week.

Monday is Diana (Artemis) who is the Goddess of Hunting. Her chariot is pulled by slaves.

Tuesday is Mars (Ares) who is the God of War. His chariot is pulled by a pair of stallions.

Wednesday is Mercury (Hermes) who is the God of Translators & Interpreters. He served as the Messenger for all the Gods and ruled over wealth, good fortune, commerce, and fertility. His chariot is pulled by roosters.

Thursday is Jupiter (Zeus) who is the King of all the Gods. His chariot is pulled by swans.

Friday is Venus (Aphrodite) who is the Goddess of Beauty & Love. Her chariot is pulled by birds (I believe they are doves).

Sunday is Apollo (Phoebus) who is the God of Light (Sun). His chariot is pulled by 4 horses.
