Here's something ultra rare and historic  - Three Stooges Memorabilia
I'm sure you have all seen rare lobby cards come up for auction but a true Stooges Collector knows that the Three Stooges made Theater and other appearances as well. And this Nightclub Program is from one of those appearaces
My mother loved attending Theater in the WW2 war years and post war years. She has a huge collection of restaurant, nightclub and theater menus that she dated in ink and wrote in her beau's name.
This piece is dated Aug 29, 1946
This is labeled The Three Stooges FIRST Chicago Night Club appearance
Featuring Larry Moe and Shemp - who newly joined the Stooges after a long time of being away due to Curley suffering a severe stroke only 3 months prior to this show.
The show was at Colosimo's Theatre Restaurant - which had its own Mob based checkered past. Colosimos was founding by the Colosimo Chicago Mob which Al Capone was a part of.
The program for the nightclub features other nightclub acts and The Three Stooges do two Skits. There was 3 shows !! The last one was at 2 am.
The back of the program has an odd stamp - see photo, Also my mothers date in ink - she attended the nightclub with two majors (major ralph) that she and her cousin double dated
For an advanced collector or Stooges historian- this is a piece you will most likely never see so don't let it pass you by.
Was folded in half and has soft corners and mild foxing on white
